There is something special about the relationship of women and horses. And the companionship among women when they go on adventures in the saddle together!
Horse obsession afflicts thousands of girls and women and once you have caught “the horse bug” it will plague you forever. A childhood spent around horses will haunt you all through your later life; it tugs at you until you give in again. You may have to pause for studies, career or having kids – but at some point- in- life the “infection” will flare up one more time!
Riding tours in Iceland are for women of all ages. The beauty of riding with an “women of age” riding group is that we have all been there. The starting again, the self – consciousness, the doubts… but by joining forces and the appropriate amount of humor it can be done!
We have had a few “women only riding groups” of all ages throughout the years and these tours have been among the most memorable because of their incredible companionship. The horses are always great, the landscape is always breathtaking, but the spirit and the laughter that comes with these “all women” groups are singular and exceptional!
Itineraries will be tailor made each time, accommodation ranges from basic mountain huts to luxury hotels, depending on wishes and budget. Food & Fun, SPA visits and cultural events can be incorporated. Tours can include professional riding lessons to build up confidence and visits to famous horse breeding farms can be incorporated. Non-riding spouse and partner programs can be offered. Really, the sky is the limit!
So ladies, if you ever dream of riding in Iceland, even fantasized about exploring a volcano and glacier shaped landscape in the saddle in great company – now is your opportunity! Gather a group of friends who would like to do their own private horse- riding tour in Iceland and contact us for an unbinding offer.
Small and big groups welcome!  info@exploringiceland.is  or Women only tours
