Many Icelanders a fairly flexible when it comes to profession and I am no exception. During winter I teach Icelandic to students from the age of sixteen at a secondary school in Reykjavík.
In Iceland the summer vacation for secondary teachers and students alike is three months and for the past roughly twenty years, graduating from the guide school in 2000, I have been spending my summers guiding English-speaking visitors to Iceland around the country.
Since I was a young boy I have travelled all over Iceland many times and know nothing better than traveling around the Icelandic countryside to recharge my mind and body.
As an experienced Manager/Leader with a demonstrated history of success, working in various industries worldwide I have learned that it’s all about People and working with People is my passion and strength.
After decades of working in Business Management I have decided to change profession to be able to combine my passion for traveling in Iceland and working with People.
I believe that beeing a Tour Guide in Iceland is the answer.
