Steinunn Guðbjörnsdóttir Steina Steinunn Guðbjörnsdóttir has over 30 years of experience as a local travel agent. Having worked for some renown Icelandic Tour Operators she has gained vast experience in all aspects of Icelandic Tourism as well as being a certified guide. She loves to travel in Iceland and has spent all her vacations in her favorite country, Iceland, either on a family camping tour in the highlands or on a horse riding tour. She is a keen photographer and cannot imagine life without dogs and horses. |
Ágúst S. Harðarson gUSTI Gusti has been with Exploring Iceland since it was founded. He is an Explore award winning guide and is much loved by our guests. Erla Björg Arnardóttir erla Erla is a professional tourist guide (Iceland Tourist Guide Association) and a keen gardener. She knows her ways around the highland and is not afraid of driving a super truck or really any other kind of vehicle! She loves to sing, has a brilliant sense of humour and loves to explore he Icelandic outdoors with our guests, friends and family. Hanna Kristin HANNA Hanna is a country girl from the north of Iceland, Akureyri but moved to Reykjavík when she was 20. Hanna has always been in the travel business, first working for travel agencies over 25 years, both incoming and outgoing. Hanna has been a guide for the last 4 years, first as a hiking guide in the highlands and doing food tours downtown. For the last 2 years as a certified driver guide, full time, both doing private tours and small group tours. Hanna is friendly, energetic, outgoing, extrovert that loves meeting new people and show them around her beautiful country. |
Úlfar Snær ULFAR Úlfar Snær is a professional tourist guide (Iceland Tourist Guide Association) and teacher of Icelandic studies. He loves the outdoors and spends all his free time hiking and mountain biking in Iceland's amazing nature. Dóróthea Siglaugsdóttir DOROTHEA Many Icelanders a fairly flexible when it comes to profession and I am no exception. During winter I teach Icelandic to students from the age of sixteen at a secondary school in Reykjavík. In Iceland the summer vacation for secondary teachers and students alike is three months and for the past roughly twenty years, graduating from the guide school in 2000, I have been spending my summers guiding English-speaking visitors to Iceland around the country. |
