Hi, my name is Steinunn Guðbjörnsdóttir
I am the founder, owner and Managing Director of Exploring Iceland. For the last 25 years I have been working in Icelandic Tourism and during that time gained a lot of experience from my work at several renown Icelandic Tour Operators. This year I found it was time to take the next important step - founding my own company where I can develop my ideas of travelling and exploring Iceland in a safe but still exciting way.   From early childhood on I have been very fond of the outdoors and of 

experiencing the Icelandic higland both on foot and horseback. I am also very fond of travelling and regulary visit all the places on offer at Exploring Iceland.  It is important to me to maintain high quality services to my clients – after all I want them to return. My clients should feel welcome and well cared for from the moment they make their first enquiry to the moment they leave Iceland with lots of happy memories. I am very proud of my team: my office staff, my partners, my special advisors, guides and drivers.Together we will make sure that you will have the time of your life in my beautiful country.
