Day 1: Welcome to Iceland
Upon arrival pick up your rental car at Keflavík International Airport. Drive via the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula and Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, to your cozy accommodation at the Yurtel Náttúra. (Driving time without stops: 2,5 hours, 150 km) Day 2: Southshore Time to explore the beautiful South Shore of Iceland with numerous waterfalls, glaciers, turf houses and black lava beaches! (Driving time Yurtel Náttúra – Vík í Mýrdal and back without stops: 5 hours, 320 km) Day 3: Gullfoss – Geysir – Thingvellir National Park Have you heard about the Golden Circle? You are right in the heart of it and can enjoy the erupting geysers and beautiful waterfall Gullfoss close by! Take a walk in between the continents and visit the historical sites at Thingvellir National Park. In the evening you might consider a riding tour right from the Yurtel (summer only)? (Driving time Yurtel Náttúra – Thingvellir National Park via Geysir and back without stops: 2 hours, 130 km/Driving time Yurtel Náttúra – Gullfoss Waterfall and back without stops: 20 minutes, 14 km). Day 4: Back to Keflavik airport Check out at the Yurtel and drive back to Keflavík Airport in time for your flight. Day 1: Welcome to Iceland

(Driving time without stops: 2,5 hours, 150 km) Day 2: Southshore Time to explore the beautiful South Shore of Iceland with numerous waterfalls, glaciers, turf houses and black lava beaches! (Driving time Yurtel Náttúra – Vík í Mýrdal and back without stops: 5 hours, 320 km) Day 3: Gullfoss – Geysir – Optional activity in the evening Have you heard about the Golden Circle? You are right in the heart of it and can enjoy the erupting geysers and beautiful waterfall Gullfoss close by! In the afternoon you might consider a riding tour right from the Yurtel or joining a river rafting or a jet boat tour from the Rafting Base camp nearby (summer only)? (Driving time Yurtel Náttúra – Gullfoss Waterfall and back without stops: 20 minutes, 14 km/The Geysers at Haukadalur Geothermal field are very close to the Yurtel, driving time just a 2 minutes drive!) Day 4: Thingvellir National Park and Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland Check out at the Yurtel after breakfast and drive via Thingvellir National Park to Reykjavík, the vibrant capital of Iceland. Enjoy the Old Harbour with its old houses and landing pier where Whale and Puffin Watching boats set out. You might want to join a Reykjavík Food Walk or take off for a thrilling short „flyovericeland“ adventure. There is so much on offer from the Aurora Show at the Perlan Planetarium to the educational Whales of Iceland Exhibition. In the evening enjoy a true Icelandic meal in one of Iceland´s finest restaurants! Overnight in middle class hotel in Reykjavík. (Driving time without stops: 2 hours, 110 km) Day 5: To Keflavik airport Check out at the hotel and drive back to Keflavík Airport in time for your flight. At the geothermal Kerlingarfjöll Resort you can even walk to a natural bathing hot spring!
