our superior super jeep trips

A super jeep is something very Icelandic. The bigger - the better. (?)
At some places in Iceland you really need a Super Jeep to be able to
discover some of the most beautiful spots in Iceland.
Passing rivers and driving on the unfriendly terrain of the Icelandic Outback is not for the average car.
To travel in a Super Jeep look super cool on Instagram and are super fun as well!

landmannalaugaR - 10 hrs

This one-day tour takes us to the delightful Landmannalaugar valley. Lanmannalaugur, which translates as 'the people's pools' lies at the centre of the forbidding Icelandic highlands.
We enter the highlands through the Thjórsádalur Valley stopping at Hjálparfoss, one of Iceland’s loveliest waterfalls. The tour then takes us into the extraordinary multi-coloured rhyolite mountainscape, a kaleidoscope of pink, brown, green, yellow, blue, purple, black and white sand.
We then arrive in the 'pearl of the highlands', the water-filled Ljótipollur crater and the hot springs of the Landmannalaugar oasis and your your opportunity to bathe in the natural hot springs or join an included gentle guided hike.
Depending on the season and weather there is every chance you will see either the Midnight Sun or the Northern Lights. All Year

THORSMORK AND SOUTHcoast - 10 hrs

We start by driving in our modified super trucks along the south shore, heading for one of the places that Icelanders appreciate most, Þórsmörk (The Woods of Thor). From Þórsmörk it is possible to view the volcano that recently erupted in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. On the way we make a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall to walk behind the waterfall and at a small glacial lagoon. Many glacial rivers have to be crossed on the way to Þórsmörk which is situated in a valley the south of Iceland surrounded by three glaciers and mountains which create favorable circumstances for growth for the over 170 plant species you can find in the area. Many walking paths are marked in Þórsmörk, making it an ideal place for short hikes with views of glaciers, woodlands and other colorful landscape. All Year

The Magic of Snaefellsnes Peninsula - 10 hrs

Spend the day travelling through some of the most spectacular landscapes you will see in Iceland. Snæfellsnes is truly a magical place, with it’s volcanoes, glacier, basalt columns and waterfalls. The peninsula is rich in wildlife, including dozens of species of birds and bays teeming with whales.
Snæfellsnes is one of few places in Iceland with golden and pink beaches, natural mineral springs, beautiful rhyolite mountains and volcanic craters, including the spatter cone Eldbog. Arnarstapi and Hellnar are not to be missed. Small fishing villages are passed, as well as Mt Kirkjufell   which is said to be the most beautiful mountain on the peninsula.  Right outside of Stykkishólmur, the capital of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, is Mt. Helgafell “The Sacred Hill” and if you can climb it without looking back or uttering a word you can get 3 wishes.  All Year
