This itinerary is a suggestion for private groups who are happy to spend a few nights in cozy hotel accommodation in both Reykjavík and the countryside to have more flexibility and time for sightseeing.
We have a range of cozy hotels (3 to 5 Star hotels) in the countryside that can accommodate small and larger private groups. This itinerary gives you the advange of travelling further from Reykjavík and having more time on each location. All of our hotels have excellent restaurants and bar facilities. During the Northern Lights season (September/October to March/April) a countryside location is always preferable since it will give you better darkness to see the lights. Please note that this itinerary is just an example and days can be exchanged, the program can be shortened or altered to your wishes! This route would also suit as a self drive tour as well! |
