Our top Snowmobile Tours

If you like a thrilling adventure in Iceland check out our snowmobile tours!  We offer both tours on Mýrdalsjökull
and Langjökull glaciers, as well as some combo tours.
Just imagine driving powerful ski-doos on one of Iceland´s glaciers!
Be aware;  no one should enter a glacier without being accompanied by an experienced glacier guide.

We’ll drive up towards Langjökull Glacier in a specialized Super-Jeep.  It is an exciting experience in itself. After arriving at our glacier base camp, you will be provided with a snowmobile suit, gloves, balaclava and helmet for your snowmobile ride.

Your professional glacier snowmobiling guide will then show you how to safely operate a snowmobile before your one-hour excursion officially starts.

Hop on a snowmobile to explore the stunning landscape of Langjökull Glacier and the wonders of a naturally-formed ice cave. Pick up from Reykjavik or Amazing Basecamp Skjól Campground.

Your certified glacier guide will provide overalls, helmet and all the gear you need. Also give you a safety briefing and a few straightforward snowmobile driving instructions. You are then ready to ride - driving a snowmobile is easy but feel free to ask any questions before you roar off. Your stunning 1-hour snowmobile ride will take you across Langjökull Glacier, the second largest glacier in Iceland, rising to 1450 m above sea level. Feel your excitement and adrenaline soar!

Snowmobile tour from Gullfoss

This is a great choice for those who have their own car and want to top off the Golden Circle with something special.
We offer daily departures from Gullfoss Café where you can park your car and grab some lunch. Our monster truck departs at 13:00 and will take you up to Langjökull glacier.
The drive itself is quite an adventure, remember to look outside the windows and take it all in. It’s a sight like no other.
Once you arrive at our base camp you will receive the appropriate equipment, such as helmets, overalls, overshoes, gloves and a hat. Our friendly and fun-loving guides will give you instructions on how to operate the snowmobile and go over the safety procedures before you ride off into the winter wonderland.
Our snowmobile are double-riders and children are welcome to ride as passengers as long as they have reached the age of six.
