our top snowmobile tours

If you like a thrilling adventure in Iceland check out our snowmobile tours!  We offer both tours on Mýrdalsjökull
and Langjökull glaciers, as well as some combo tours.
Just imagine driving powerful ski-doos on one of Iceland´s glaciers!
Be aware;  no one should enter a glacier without being accompanied by an experienced glacier guide.

South Coast and snowmobile

This super-exciting snowmobiling adventure takes you to the top of the spectacular Mýrdalsjökull glacier. We pick you up from your  accommodation in Reykjavík.  From there we head along the South coast to our base by the glacier.
At our base we get you ready for snowmobiling. From base we drive in our  jeep or truck up the mountain to the snowmobile location. In good weather you will have a breathtaking view of South Iceland, one of the most scenic areas of the country. We provide everything you need for the journey, and no snowmobiling experience is required.
Mýrdalsjökull is the southernmost glacier in Iceland and underneath the 250 m thick ice is the caldera of the volcano Katla. On the route back to Reykjavík we make stops by the picturesque waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss.
One-hour guided snowmobile tour. Snowmobile also includes a super-jeep transportation from main base up the mountain to the snowmobile location, about one extra hour.

A valid driver's licence is required. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 5. One child per paying adult.

golden circle and snowmobile

The Golden Circle tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural phenomena. Our first stop is at Þingvellir National Park, which is one of Iceland’s most significant historical sites because it was there that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring, the one spouting hot spring on Earth after which all other spouting hot springs are named. From there we continue on to Gullfoss (“the Golden waterfall”) where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face. Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier. We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.
