The bay is even full of birdlife, from puffins and gannets to guillemots and more, that actively feed on the plentiful fish found in the bay. Magnificent landscapes surround the area and add a unique contrast to the vast ocean, where the spectacular views on the horizon are certainly not to be missed.

Quad biking

You will drive rugged trails & a route along the lovely Lake Hafravatn, and a variety of terrains to have fun on. Then it’s onwards and upwards as you bike to the top of Reykjavik Peak mountain – the high point of your journey. From there you should be able to see the Hengill mountain range, Iceland’s third most active volcanic system, together with Hellisheiði, the geothermal power plant for the capital area. A spectacular view over Faxaflói bay and the whole capital region, Bláfjöll mountain range and Esja, Reykjavik’s house mountain, is waiting for you.

On our Diving Silfra Day Tour you will dive into the most unique body of water in the world with unparalleled visibility. Silfra is a crack in the Earth ripped open by the movement of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The crystal clear glacial water providing over 100 meters of underwater visibility has been filtered for decades through underground lava rocks. The underwater scenery that you experience on your Diving Tour is found nowhere else on Earth.
