​You will spend two nights at lovely Kjóastaðir Horse Farm nestled beautifully in green countryside right between some of the most exhilarating sights of Iceland, the Geysir geothermal field with its erupting hot spring Strokkur and the majestic waterfall Gullfoss.
The last night is spend in the Reykjavík area to give you some time for the Reykjavík night life or a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon!

Day by day itinerary 

Day 1: Golden Circle Sightseeing 
Pick up your rental car upon landing at Keflavík International. Drive via the famous Þingvellir National Park to your cozy farm accommodation at Kjóastaðir farm where your hosts run a successful horse breeding farm with over 100 horses. From the farm grounds it is only a few minutes drive to the Geysir geothermal field and to the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall. You can actually see the Geysir erupting from the cozy lounge of the guesthouse! Plenty of restaurant choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner are within easy driving distance. 

Day 2: Horse back riding and Secret Lagoon
Today you will exchange the driving wheel for some riding reins as you will ride from the farm grounds to experience the soft and comfortable tölt!  After the ride drive to the mystifying Secret Lagoon for a bath in the geothermal water of this natural bathing spring!
​How does a tomato soup in a Greenhouse Restaurant sound for lunch? Or book a private cooking class in the evening for some traditional cooking & dining with your local host in a very special atmosphere in the farm house restaurant with stable view! While cooking sample local specialties such as home made Icelandic rye bread, smoked and cured wild salmon, cured and smoked lamb. (min. 4 guests). 

Day 3: Time for extra activities and Reykjavík 
Today you will have time for extra optional activities: Add another horse back riding tour, go snowmobiling on Langjökull Glacier, wild water rafting or hiking in beautiful Haukadalur Valley with its picturesque Parish Church and hot springs! In the evening drive back to Reykjavík for the last night to experience the night life of the vibrant Nordic capital or spend the last night near the airport if you wish to visit the Blue Lagoon. 

Day 4: Individual time and departure 
Spend the morning individually in Reykjavík or the Blue Lagoon before returning the rental car for your departing flight.
