Stay on a horse farm
in Iceland

Farm Stays and Riding

If you are travelling around Iceland with a small group of countryside loving people who love horses
but don´t feel that they want to participate in a long riding tour, a farm stay would be a great option.

You have the choice between self- catering cottages, apartments and farms who offer double rooms with wonderful home cooking. Sometimes riding is included, sometimes riding tours can be booked directly on the farm – ahead of the stay or while you are there.
Farm Stays are also ideal when travelling with young children because most of the farms
have lots of cuddly farm animals to pet and love!

We highly recommend a rental car while you stay but in some cases the hosts can pick you up at the next bus stop for a small fee. Please note that shopping and restaurants are usually not reachable without a car.

Prices start from ISK 13.000 for a small cottage for 2 people.
Sometimes a one-time fee for towels and bed linen needs to be paid, approx. 1.500 to 2.000 ISK per/person and stay.
Prices depend on number of guests travelling, season and number of nights.

Availability on request.
There is usually high demand during June to August and we recommend to book early.
We are happy to make you an individual offer!

Please find here a small selection of Icelandic farms looking forward to welcoming you!
