Exploring Iceland's favorite Bathing tours

Swimming is a very popular sport in Iceland and living on a island, all Icelanders must be able to swim.
Swimming pools or natural hot pots are to be found all around Iceland,
in every little village and in the middle of nowhere.
Do like the locals do - try at least one of Iceland´s swimming pools!

The Secret Lagoon

Did you know the "Secret Lagoon" is on of the oldest swimming pool in Iceland?
On this tour from Reykjavik we travel via Southern meadows to Flúðir where the Secret Lagoon is to be found. The locals learned how to swim in this charming pool early in the last century. And as a bonus there are several geothermal spots and a little Geysir spouting every 5 minutes for you!

Please note:  Admission fee to the lagoon and towel is included in the price BUT remember to bring your bathing suit

NOTE: Short, easy walks on the site. Recommended to dress warm because the weather in Iceland can change in the matter of minutes.

Fontana wellness and Golden Circle

One of the most popular day tour from Reykjavik is with no doubt the Golden Circle.  On this tour we have added a relaxing stop at the Fontana Spa located in the tiny village of Laugarvatn.

The original sauna was built in the 1920s and was little more than a shack with two compartments, built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below the ground. Today, a modern complex welcomes you to relax with various hot tubs and steam baths naturally heated by Icelandic hot springs.

Before returning to Reykjavik, you will be offered some typical Icelandic rye bread which is slow-baked in the natural hot springs.

The famous Blue Lagoon, Iceland

The Blue Lagoon is the most visited attraction in Iceland and one of the wonders in the world.  Therefore it is quite often fully booked so you need to book your visit to Blue Lagoon in advance.

You can book this Blue Lagoon tour either to/from Reykjavik or as a stop on your way to/from Keflavik airport.

Return bus fare and admission is included.  Bathing suits and towel can be rented on spot.

Please remember to book the admission to the Blue Lagoon as it is NOT included in tour price.
