Airport Transfer 

To and from Keflavik airport 
​How do I get from the airport to Reykjavik?  The easiest and least expensive way is to travel by bus.  There are several companies offering transfer to and from Keflavik airport.  Exploring Iceland is happy to arrange your travel to or from the airport and you can book it directly on this site.  If you prefer a private transfer please contact us at info@exploringiceland.is
  • Departures from Keflavik Airport are in connection with all arriving passengers flights. 

TRANSFERS BY FLY - BUS

  • Pick up from your accommodation starts 30 minutes prior to your departure. 
  • Departures from Keflavik Airport are in connection with all arriving passengers flights.
  • The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. 
  • Busses are located right outside the terminal building.
  • If you are arriving late at night or your flight is delayed, don't worry, there will be a Flybus waiting for you.
  • We offer special discount fares for children accompanied by adults.
  • 0 - 11 years: free of charge.
  • 12 - 15 years: 50% discount.

Transfer via the Blue Lagoon

One of the best way to begin your travel to Iceland is taking a nice warm welcome bath.  Blue Lagoon is only 15 min drive from Keflavik airport and we offer a de-tour to the Blue Lagoon on your way to Reykjavik. Can you imagine after a long international flight to freshen up and rub some silica mud in your face before your adventure in Iceland begin?  
After having enjoyed everything the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you can either take the bus to Reykjavík or be dropped off at Keflavik International Airport (KEF).

What do I need to bring?
  • Bathing suits and towels can be rented on the spot.
  • You can safely store your luggage at the Blue Lagoon while bathing. Storage cost is 3 EUR (500 ISK) per bag.
  • Please note visitor´s pass can be bought at the Blue Lagoon.
